About me:
I was born in Gadsden, Alabama. First licensed as KN4POZ in 1957. I have been licensed and active continuously since that time. My entire working career of 43 years was spent in Commercial Broadcast Engineering. I retired in 1999 after 24 years as Chief Engineer and Director of Information Technologies at WSB, Cox Radio, Atlanta . I am a Life member of ARRL, The Society of Broadcast Engineers and Veterans of Foreign Wars. My primary interest in Ham Radio is technical and I enjoy designing, building and tinkering with all sorts of electronic projects. Hamfests are one of the things I enjoy most about Ham Radio and I try to go to as many of them as possible. Lorraine, my lovely wife of over 55 years, and I have two sons, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. We live in Marietta, GA, just north of Atlanta. |
